Ethereum adoption among corporations continues accelerating — and this time, the biggest development comes from Japan. Quantum Solutions, a publicly traded company on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, has revealed that it acquired 2,365 ETH within just one week, officially becoming the largest Ethereum DAT (Digital Asset Treasury) holder outside the United States.
The move positions Quantum Solutions at the center of Japan’s growing institutional crypto activity. Backed by Ark Invest, the firm has leaned heavily into Ethereum as part of its long-term digital asset strategy. CEO Francis B. Zhou shared the milestone on X, noting the company’s rapid expansion:
“We’ve accumulated 2,365 ETH in seven days. This officially makes Quantum Solutions the largest ETH DAT outside the U.S. More ETH purchases are coming soon. Thank you for your support, Cathie Wood and Ark Invest.”
Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood publicly endorsed the announcement, emphasizing the importance of broadening global access to digital asset innovation. In her statement, she highlighted that Japan’s first institutional-grade ETH DAT marks a major step for the region’s capital markets:
“Three months into the DAT revolution, we’re delighted to support Japan’s first institutional-grade ETH DAT. Expanding access to innovation in global markets is crucial — and we’re excited to do this alongside Quantum Solutions and Francis B. Zhou.”
This development reflects a broader trend in corporate crypto adoption. While Bitcoin still dominates many treasury strategies, Ethereum’s role has expanded rapidly thanks to tokenized asset growth, staking yields, and rising institutional interest. Quantum Solutions’ aggressive accumulation shows how quickly ETH is becoming a preferred asset for companies building long-term digital reserves.
With Ark Invest’s backing and more purchases already planned, Japan’s corporate crypto landscape is entering a new phase — one where Ethereum is taking center stage.
